Jaki and Jennifer were wonderful to work with! They understood our vision and the outcome was perfect. They helped us design an addition and refresh to our main house and building a new 1,200 sqft ADU. They walked us through every step and provided beautiful options that fit our aesthetic. I would would recommend her and her team 10/10! Thank you JY team!

Jaki should be your first call before starting any remodel. Our general contractor told us we didn’t 'need' a designer—and maybe that’s true for someone with endless time, experience, and a love for the process—but that definitely wasn’t us. We quickly realized we were in over our heads. Jaki stepped in seamlessly and transformed the entire experience. Within just a couple of meetings, she selected all of our materials—something I had struggled with for months. Our only regret is not bringing her on from day one. If you're even considering a project, call Jaki and her team!

I’ve been working with Jaki and her amazing team now for the better part of 4 years now and all I can say is that I’m not only so lucky to have discovered JY Interiors but I have a beautifully designed home to show for it. JY Interiors is top notch design and very reasonably priced. The team is amazing, they are on top of it and always follow up and deliver on their promises. They are a pleasure to work with, friendly and responsive. I couldn’t recommend them more they are amazing!

We worked with a Jaki and her team on a second story redesign, including a brand new staircase and two bathrooms (our primary bath and a guest bath). The JY team far exceeded our expectations! Not only were we thrilled with the finished product, but the entire experience of working with them was fantastic. Besides Jaki and team being extremely personable and easy to work with, here few things that we were especially impressed with: 1. Jaki quickly understood my design vision during our initial consultation and ran with it! I felt an immediate "chemistry" with her and I knew our project would be in great hands. 2. Her entire team was incredibly responsive and attentive throughout the duration of the project. Even though they were managing other clients at the time, it never felt that way and I was impressed by how dedicated they were to our project. 3. When we weren't sure which design decision to make (about fixtures, finishes, or other), they always presented us a set of options to choose from. This helped the decision making feel so manageable and not at all overwhelming. I really appreciated this approach. 4. Along with JY's amazing design talent, they're also extremely strong in project management. As a corporate professional, I really valued their ability to manage the budget and timeline and their transparency about how we were tracking. Being pregnant at the time, it was critical for us to stay on schedule! we felt confident that they had a handle on the work and could rest easy that they would flag any issues to us as needed. I can't recommend the JY team enough! I would work with them again in a heartbeat! Hopefully on a kitchen remodel next! :)

Unfortunately we had an awful experience with Jaki and cannot recommend her work at all. There were red flags from the beginning but we wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. Please don't make our mistake. Ultimately, Jaki did not understand our vision and kept pushing her design preferences on us. We had to fully create our own PowerPoint deck with reference photos to get our ideas across room by room; source our own tile (when she claimed the design we wanted didn't exist in the tile we wanted); ordered the wrong quantity of products; among many other issues. Additionally when we chose not to use her preferred contractor, she became even more difficult to work with. She claimed she didn't know how to use IKEA's closet building tool to help us build our master closet, was always running late to our meetings; nor did she know how to use Gmail to schedule said meetings. Due to COVID and vendor supply issues our renovation took much longer than anyone expected. But the most egregious and unprofessional behavior was when she quit the job BEFORE any of the fixtures she ordered were even installed. She literally took our money and ran. We were still in the middle of our renovation and had been project managing the majority of the work ourselves. To reiterate-- we paid Jaki in full for her services but she would not even honor returns or exchanges for products that we DID NOT install (because they didn't end up working in our space and were misrepresented in the renderings). In the end, we had to go directly to the vendor ourselves, who graciously honored the exchange given that we had such a terrible time trying to get that through Jaki. The whole experience has been extremely disappointing and we would not recommend her services.
