I would give zero stars if I could. I was refused to be seen over an "outstanding balance" (a few hundred dollars) that wasn't paid the last time I was seen. That was 20 years ago when I was around 8 years old. Now they think I'm responsible for it, which honestly baffles me. Sorry I didn't have the extra cash on me when I was a toddler! The unfortunate thing is, I had a very good experience with Dr. Tolson when I was a kid and I was looking forward to getting treated by a familiar face. However, what he just proved to me was how unethical and unprofessional he really is. I wouldn't recommend anyone to him on that principle alone. You had a perfect opportunity to do the right thing and chose not to.

Dr. Tolson is a wonderful doctor. He takes his time to help his patients and shares very helpful information in a way that is easy for children and adults to understand. They were able to get us in last minute and the receptionist helped when the pharmacy made a mistake with the medicine my daughter needed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tolson for approximately 15 years. Dr. Tolson is a highly competent physician. Dr. Tolson keeps up-to-date with the "latest and greatest" in his field of practice. This Dr. listens to what you have to say and reacts in a professional manner. Dr. Tolson has a pleasant demeanor, and treats his patients with respect. Truly a top-notch professional and a caring human being.

Dr. Tolson and his nurses are so incredible! They actually LISTEN and take the time to explain things. My kids are actually excited to go see Dr. Tolson because he doesn't talk AROUND them, he talks TO them. If you need an asthma and allergy doctor, he is the only one I'd recommend.

I see Dr. Tolson at the beach office, first specialist I saw after moving to Hatteras Island from south Jersey...very professional, easy to talk to, shares information other than allergy recommendations...I look forward to this appointment every year!
