Outstanding Experience from start to finish!!! From the moment we walked into First Choice Flooring Kitchen and Bath, we immediately felt welcomed and appreciated. Meeting Fred and Neema made our decision incredibly easy. Hands down, they became our “First Choice”. They were incredibly knowledgeable, eager to offer design suggestions and shared an invaluable amount of product details with us. As a family owned business, they truly operate with a “our family to yours” mindset. They valued our time, commitment to doing business together and stood head and shoulders above others in the industry. We ended up choosing wood flooring for our entire main floor and new stone for kitchen. Not only were Fred and Neema outstanding, but their entire crew was as well. The flooring team, Chris, Javier, Martine and Francisco were fantastic and a pleasure to work with, great craftsmanship. The stone team, Jaime, Edgar, Jose and his lovely wife were equally wonderful. Renovating such an important part of your home can be quite stressful but this team made it a truly outstanding experience for which we are most grateful. I couldn’t recommend First Choice Flooring Kitchen and Bath more highly! Thank you all so much 🙏

My husband and I have thought long and hard about writing this review. We don’t take putting forth bad reviews lightly. We just felt strongly that we did not want other potential clients to fall into the same trap that we did. First Choice Flooring and Tile might have been a “ 5 star” company in the past, but that was not our experience at all. We hired First Choice in September of 2025 to do a full master bathroom renovation and some tiling in our kitchen. It is now February 2026 and the project still remains unfinished. There was one set back after another; one crisis after another. The sub-contractors, while very sweet people, never started their work day before 11am. Therefore, they were with us until 7-7:30 at night. That was extremely difficult. The worst part though was the total lack of communication and quite frankly concern over the delays and frustrations that we faced with the quality of work being done and time it was taking. Fred, the owner and supposed contractor, never once showed up once to check on the progress of our project and to address our concerns. He had one excuse after another, one crisis after another. It was always incumbent upon us, the client who was paying “top dollar” to figure out how to solve the problem. We usually just reached out to the subcontractors ourselves or hired others to complete the job. His comment to us when faced with obvious subpar workmanship on our project was, “sometimes you just have to live with a few flaws”! We actually finally had to realize that he simply could not complete our job and we were going to have to accept the flaws and mistakes. Do yourself a favor. Look elsewhere for your tiling and flooring project. At the end of the day, you will save yourself many headaches and frustration and hopefully receive a much higher quality job.

I had a fantastic experience with 1st Choice Flooring. Fred and his family were so very helpful and responsive to my flooring needs. I have pets and live in an upstairs condo so sound was a factor, They provided several options, and installed my flooring quickly and beautifully. The craftsmanship is exquisite and we are so happy with the results. Five Glowing stars for our whole family, pets included!!!

I Renovated my kitchen, it turned out beautifully. If you want master craftsmen you will be very happy with Fred & Nemo and all their excellent crew members. These guys are masters of the craft. They are very clean and efficient and offer helpful design advice. Can’t wait to hire them to do my bathrooms.

While living in Seattle I recently purchased a home in Dana Point which was in need of fresh paint and new carpet. While doing research in the area I discovered a gem in Fred at First Choice Carpet and Flooring. Fred's crews performed a total repaint of the interior of my home in addition to installing new carpet throughout all while I remained in Seattle packing up for the move. I am a real estate professional and have been both impressed and appreciative of Fred's professional communication as well as his willingness to help me wherever I needed it. The paint work turned out beautiful and the carpet installation was very high quality. Fred hit his schedule and finished early so that my house was ready for me to move in when I arrived from Seattle. I was very happy with everything he did and his pricing was very fair. I cannot say enough good about Fred and First Choice Carpet. I can easily refer him to all of my friends and neighbors.
