We did a complete upgrade of our home, adding a few hundred square feet while reconfiguring much of the house so that it was more open concept. From the start, Jacqueline's attention to detail was unmatched. She made sure we thought about not only how it would look aesthetically, but also how it would function. It was a big job and we felt so comfortable having her confirm the construction was done to plan. She's gone over and above helping us with post job questions. I would 100% recommend Historia Design --- and actually have :)

I did a complete remodel of my home— kitchen, bathrooms, exterior, plumbing, electrical— and I wanted to maintain the mid- century aesthetic. Jacqueline was the perfect design partner for my project. She listened to my ideas, offered great suggestions, and was collaborative throughout the process. I loved her attention to quality and detail, and my redesigned home is all I hoped it would be. Five stars!

We needed to get some creative input and design for our kitchen/ADU . I phoned around to a few other design firms who were either flakey or weren't the right fit for our project. Finally I remembered meeting Jacqueline at a business meeting I had attended a few months before and decided to give her a call. After a face to face meeting in our house we hit it off right away. Working with Jacqueline and the team at Historia Design was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly, full of ideas and always got back to us within a day or two. This quality alone is worth working with them! Since this was our first time redesigning our house it was really helpful to work with someone who could be patient with our vision and help guide us through an exciting and overwhelming experience. I would recommend Historia Design to anyone looking for interior design.

We bought our home knowing we'd be doing an addition to add a 2nd bathroom and create a master suite to our home. I already knew the vision I wanted, but we needed a professional to help us with the architectural drawings and to bring our vision to life that incorporated both of our styles. It was also extremely important to my husband and I that our addition be cohesive and consistent with the design of our home so it all flowed. We interviewed a few General Contractors and their suggested Designer and after meeting with Jacqueline and her team we knew we found the right match for us. I'm very hands on and know what I want. Jacqueline was very responsive and professional with our entire process, even listening to things I specifically wanted and finding ways to ensure they were incorporated into the design. Our home couldn't be better now that it is all done. We are in love and so is everyone else that sees it completed. They say they feel like they've walked into a high end spa. Thank you again Jacqueline, and your team for bringing our vision to life.

When we decided to remodel our house, we knew that we would need a designer to guide us since it was going to be a fairly extensive project. We had never done anything like this and wanted to work with someone who guide us and also get to know us. The key for us was to find someone that would understand the vision and concept of our plans and have the ability to integrate these plans with their professional expertise and resources. We planned to interview three design vendors, but after we met Jacqueline of Historia Design we knew immediately that we did not need to talk to anyone else. She was the right fit for us! She is extremely knowledgeable and professional. We felt super comfortable even though it was our first experience working with a designer. Jacqueline listened carefully and understood what we were trying to accomplish She was interested in our likes, dislikes, style preferences, and our lifestyle. She was looking for a holistic picture of us and how we live. She was sensitive to our needs and was able to translate our ideas and budget into a realistic plan. Jacqueline has excellent resources. She knows where to find the right products and materials. She led us in new and different directions that provided beautiful solutions. Jacqueline is well organized and runs very efficiently. She provided the support we needed and was a great guide. Overall we are extremely pleased with the service and expertise provided by Jacqueline and the team at Historia Design. We would recommend Jacqueline without the slightest hesitation. Our house was totally transformed into a beautiful space that we absolutely love. We still say we can’t believe that this is our house!
