I had been shopping quotes for flooring and installation for two rooms in the house of single elderly woman in Carlsbad. Every day I am the target of contractors and mortgage companies trying to take advantage of me. One day we just happened to come across Action Carpet while running errands. My caregiver ran in, explained my needs and that I am on a limited income and did they have products to offer us. They offered several excellent solutions for both hard floor and carpet. They gave us a rough estimate that either met or beat all the previous quotes we garnered from both larger corporate suppliers and small independent handymen. And when they came to my home to measure for accuracy the quote was nearly identical to the estimate. We we OVER THE MOON relieved and excited. I got a modest quote without compromising quality or service. They removed the furniture and the old carpets, installed the non permeable, waterproof padding and pet urine resistant carpet, replaced the furniture, cleaned up and offered some leftover cuts which we gladly took. The installer was SO PATIENT WITH US, and old lady and her caregiver. We were so grateful to him. He was so kind and pleasant. Overall we could never have anticipated such a good experience.

We first went there to purchase tile for our bathroom last fall and appreciated their wide selection and customer service. The tile order came quick and we were very happy with the product. We came back again in July of this year to purchase carpet for about 1,000 sf of our home. Again they had a wide selection and were very helpful in choosing the right carpet type for our needs and wants. Installation was quick & professional. Special Thanks to the installers Leo, Omar, & Juan. The owner told me their installers are not sub contractors but employees. Those guys worked very hard and did not stop for five hours. They were neat, polite, and respectful. But most importantly is the new carpet looks GREAT. I would definitely recommend using Action Carpet and Floor Decor. I found Action using Google Maps, and I'm glad I did. Shawn in the showroom was super knowledgeable about the premium vinyl flooring I was looking for, and I found my dream flooring within 30 mins and had a full written quote, in stock confirmation and was comfortable I had chosen the right vendor. After a $100 deposit Shawn came over to measure and evaluate the space to determine a full quote. All pricing was transparent, upfront, with nothing hidden, all.paperwork and change orders handled easily. My interactions from then were with Kenny, who runs the install crews, and he was very patient in working with my ever changing project schedule due to some unexpected delays. I scheduled the delivery of the baseboard and other pieces to my home early so they could be prepainted by a contractor friend, which I strongly suggest, rather than painting after install. On the day of install, Augustine and his crew did an amazing job transforming my home into what I would have loved it to look like when I bought it a few years ago. They worked all day, and it looks incredible. A stark contrast to the cheap rosewood looking flooring it had prior. This is the kind of experience you hope to have when you choose a vendor/contractor, chose them, you won't be disappointed!
