I used to like this company for back-flow testing every year but they would raise their prices every year. At first I didn’t think much of it because everything is going up on price. However I contacted several plumbing companies who do back flow testing and this company was the most expensive! Not by a little but by a lot!! So I switched. Very sad because I liked their customer services.

We've had them forever, a few newbies fall short in respecting the customer. You are in someone's home respect is everything. Overall I give high marks to AO Reed. They do an excellent job. They don't hire thieves.

I have an annual contract with A.O. Reed & Co. for quarterly maintenance of the HVAC system at my business downtown. This is the fourth HVAC maintenance company I've worked with since 2017, and it is SO REFRESHING to work with the professional experts at A.O. Reed & Co. Omar was in my shop this morning for quarterly maintenance. It was good to see him again. He knows exactly what he's doing, and always explains it to me very clearly, showing me what he's referring to when necessary, and even breaking down various options when repairs are necessary. This is top-notch service at a very reasonable price. I recommend without hesitation or reservation.

I visited the store today as I needed a plumbing fixture after going to Ace and the Home Depot, both of whom recommended that I visit A O Reed as they were plumbing specialists. Ace and Home Depot were experienced, pleasant and helpful. The opposite was true of the elderly person behind the counter at A O Reed, he was unhelpful, unpleasant and generally clueless and useless. With his kind of service it will only be a matter of time before they go belly up, I intend completing a major renovation of my home in La Jolla and will not allow the contractors to buy from them.

Bought 2 drains at their plumbing supply store. Were "helped" by a gruff older salesman who told us this was the "only one they sold" and that "any idiot could put it in". Well, guess what? We must have been idiots, and our plumber also as neither drain fit our new sinks. When I tried to return them (I am female), I was "helped" by another gruff old man who treated me like a simpleton when he told me he couldn't accept the returns because they had been scratched. The chrome that shows was not damaged but he wouldn't budge. Did everything but call me "little lady". We will NEVER buy from them again. Didn't appreciate the attitude.
