As an engineer, I tend to be thorough about these things and started my investigation online, checking reviews, websites, and companies in the area. I found a huge number of companies, some real, and some sites that are just referral companies dressed to seem like a real company in your town. I wanted a locally owned business with enough experience to minimize issues and risk. I began with 6 companies. One was AllWeather, selected based on their great reviews and that they were a substantial local business with lots of experience. 5 others also looked like good possibilities for similar reasons, but 2 of those never responded. So, I eventually received quotes from four companies. Two of them - AllWeather and another, met with me to provide all of the details, explain the options, and brought sample materials. It was a good learning experience to understand what needed to be done. Sam from AllWeather impressed me the most with his detailed knowledge and understanding. He came to the meeting, having done quite a bit of work in preperation, including having a detailed knowledge of my roofing needs. Two other companies emailed me a quote after inspeciting the house, but the quotes were missing lots of details that impacted price and quality. One took a week to get back and the other just gave me a price with no details at all, as if he didn't want to spend time on it. Neither a good sign. AllWeather came in with a quote similar to the others - in fact, all 4 estimates were within 10% of one another, which was surprising. We picked AllWeather for the clarity they provided, their professionalism, clear communication, and fair pricing. I called references and all were excellent Unlike the 2nd company that visited, Sam from ALLWeather gave us an exact schedule when they could begin and met those dates perfectly. The other was more vague and less certain about the time to get a permit and when they could begin. AllWeather knew when they'd have a permit, knew when they would start and when they would finish. Everything was clearly explained. The results: The roof was completed and all went very smoothly. Sam communicated daily with a short progress report with pictures and the on-site foreman spoke with us daily to keep us informed. On a day when rain was expected, the foreman gave me his cell phone number after covering the roof in case we experienced any leaks that night. We didn't. The crew was hard working,and the results were everything we could have hoped for. The company exceeded our expectations, which at least took away some of the sting of spending so much on a new roof.

The proposal was thorough and transparent, with costs clearly outlined upfront. Any additional costs that did arise were reasonable and related only to conditions that cannot be seen until the roof is fully removed, such as necessary wood replacement. Everything was clearly communicated. Manuel, the foreman, was friendly, punctual every morning, and very accommodating. The crew did excellent work and kept the job running efficiently. At the end of the project, Sam personally completed the final walkthrough with us. When we pointed out a few minor items, they were addressed immediately the same day. He then returned for a second walkthrough to ensure everything was completed properly. The roof also comes with an excellent warranty, and they return after five years to do a follow up inspection, which speaks to their confidence in their work. Overall, the workmanship, responsiveness, and professionalism exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely recommend All Weather Roofing to anyone looking for a reliable and high quality roofing company.
