Our vision was to remodel our guest bedroom, enlarging it and adding a bathroom. Unfortunately, our city would not approve adding additional square feet to our existing house. We interviewed local building contractors for the bedroom remodel. We chose Soho Construction to build our now smaller bathroom addition. Nir and the Soho team were eager to help us with our project, even though it was much smaller than our original vision. My wife and I have done remodeling projects and a complete house build in another state. We like to be ‘active’ in the design and materials selection. We enjoy the work! The Soho Construction team has worked with owners who prefer to be hands-off or owners like us who want to be part of the team. Soho team members were very considerate during construction. They worked hard at minimizing noise and keeping the project area clean. Our agreed goal with Soho was to add a bathroom that matched the quality of our house. We achieved that goal! The Soho team did a fantastic job with our kitchen remodel along with new windows install. They were completely on schedule and on budget. Everyone who worked on site and back of house were kind, diligent and solutions finders - we never had problems! SoHo did an excellent job helping us create our dream bathroom! We were not planning to do a remodel, but due to an unfortunate and unexpected flooding incident, we were in need of immediate reconstruction. I reached out to a friend whose bathroom remodel I loved and she referred me to SoHo. SoHo manages the labor side of the house, while clients are responsible for ordering and purchasing the materials needed. This gives you autonomy in suppliers and we were able to mix and match materials to meet our design dreams within our budget. They utilize a great project management software that made this process very organized. My recommendation would be to select materials early given the lengthy lead times that can exist. SoHo was very helpful with us in regards to the portion of our work that was covered by our insurance claim and worked to separate out all invoices for insurance related expenses so that we could keep neat records for our claim. Once the project started, we were fortunate enough to work with Eyal. He managed our project and the various contractors working in our home. We appreciated his thorough oversight of their work which made us both feel safe with so many people coming in and out of home and know that the job would be done well. He moved with urgency- managing our timeline proactively to get things done and making adjustments to spare us from any gaps in repair. He was highly communicative with us and even when he wasn't at our house, he was easy to reach via text or call. On top of it all, he's just a great human being- very kind, friendly and caring! Everyone that came into our home was actually very friendly and positive and it made for as pleasant of an experience as remodeling could be. The final product looks stunning and we're in love with our new bathroom!
