We recently hired Stanley Construction to remodel our master bathroom and transform a wall in our living room by installing an electric fireplace and built-in cabinets; we really love both rooms! Their team delivered an outstanding experience. They completed both rooms within our agreed upon budget and on time- which was of paramount importance given that I was due with twins just two weeks later! From the beginning of the project, they were very responsive. We received regular updates and could easily reach our project lead and the owner with questions. They treated our home with respect: the sites stayed tidy, and they accommodated our tight schedule. The tilework in the bathroom is flawless—grout lines are perfect. That’s something I knew I would notice, which played a large role in why we chose Stanley Construction; the owner’s attention to every detail is incredible. In the living room, the fireplace trim and built-ins are seamlessly integrated into our original layout. Every edge, joint, and finish speaks to their craftsmanship and pride in delivering high-quality work.

Stanton Stanley was the general contractor on our exterior remodel and landscape renovation. His communication was poor starting halfway through the process when he tried to get us to pay $23,500 that we did not owe him. He claimed we bounced a check - we did not. He said he stopped working on our project when we were out of town, but instead he did show up to work and told the architect he likes to lie to his clients, telling them he's not working, to try and force them to pay. Since final payment, he has refused to speak to us, except via email. Instead of helping us when the exposed wiring broke on our irrigation system, he blamed us citing user error. It turns out that after two months of disrepair, the sprinkler system completely broke and the subcontractor had to come out and fix it. We communicate with the subcontractor separately because neither of us want to deal with Stanton because he is so unreasonable. Because of this problem with the sprinkler, we lost many plants. We're still finding problems with the job, but since he refuses to communicate with us, it makes things very difficult. He also bad-mouthed us to subcontractors, saying that he couldn't pay subcontractors because we had not paid him, which was false. He also did not expect good work from subcontractors, when we complained about the bad looking stucco, instead of asking the stucco subcontractor to fix it, he told the subcontractor it looks fine. Then he allowed the subcontractor to berate me, the homeowner, on my own property. He does not demand the best work for his subcontractors by any means, I was forced to demand it, which led to a very difficult working relationship. I've also found discrepancies where I believe he more than double charged me for items on the contract. I do not recommend this contractor.

Stanley construction did a major project for me about 3 to 4 years ago. Key point is that nothing has broke or needed repair at all. Talk about quality work. Plus, trust me, I am a somewhat difficult customer. I expected everything to be perfect. Plus Stanton was super patience in the planning stage. I greatly appreciated his flexibility and my style of being very detailed to avoid any miscommunication. I would use them again in a second.

We had an exceptional experience with Stanley Construction, led by the owner Stanton and his outstanding team. Their dedication to quality craftsmanship resulted in a beautifully transformed home that we absolutely love. The entire process was smooth, and we appreciate the professionalism and skill demonstrated by such an incredible company. We have a few other future projects and most definitely plan on hiring Stanley Construction again. Five stars without a doubt!

We are so pleased with how our kitchen remodel turned out! Stanton came up with a stellar design in order to maximize storage and function. His attention to detail is impeccable. His crew is respectful and they got the job done in the time frame promised. We even added 2 bathrooms to the job mid-construction. Couldn't be happier and will look forward to our next project with Stanley Construction.
