I have been a long time customer of Fortress Computer Pros. I also have a storage back-up contract with the company. The family owned company sold to CloudIT. I called with a laptop issue to see if I could bring my son's computer in that had been hacked. The person who answered asked if I had a maintenance contract. I told her I had been a customer for many years and knew the previous owner. She looked up my name and reluctantly offered to continue the conversation. She said I see you have a contracted service with us but its for one device only. If that device has a problem that is the only service we can offer you. We no longer offer services to the general public and then gave me the name of someone else to take the computer to and hung up. The previous owner was an amazing man always willing to help and had a gracious manner. I will miss Mark and his customer service and genuine caring nature. Sadly CloudIT is not in the same league and is in no way and adequate or welcome replacement. Don't bother going to this place as an individual needing assistance. They don't care.

My computer was slowing down plus the storage drives were 8 years old and almost full. I love my older Toshiba Qosmio and rather than replace it and having to start new, I sent it to Fortress Computers. I got my laptop back, the technicians replaced the old drives with SSD drives with all my programs running so fast I thought I had the latest computer. I had other issues I put up with and I made a list and they took care of those as well. I've used Fortress before and they've always been excellent and priced fair for the great work they do. They also give me options that I haven't thought of. I'm just a novice and just want my computer to work with no surprises. I'm so blessed they are in business throughout this pandemic. Fortress Computer Pros in Rancho Bernardo has been Fantastic in helping me with my IT support in San Diego. Fortress Computer Pros has never let us down!!! After last weeks power outage our main computer would not turn on after we got power back. We took our computer to them Friday and they had us up and running by Monday!! Such quick turn around! We also owe them a HUGE thank you for getting our back up installed for us, if we had not had our back up we would have lost EVERYTHING!! THANK YOU!!!
