There's definitely something "odd" about this place. I ordered a high-end used network card, which they said "failed during testing" before they shipped it and they didn't have another used one. But then they offered a new one for $400 more -- to which I declined and asked for a refund. This somewhat aligns with other reviews where a price changed after ordering. Then later that day they found another used one and were shipping it out. But then 2 days later after I followed up for shipping info -- I get an email saying it was "lost in shipping" and then a refund was issued. I'm not saying it's a scam, but I've bought easily $100k+ of things online this year, through 100's of transactions, and this company definitely stands out as an outlier and just smells...fishy. The address isn't a storefront but instead a "postal store" that you can pay to have a mailbox there. All of the other reviews(both good and bad) are from google accounts that have left only 1 review. They did refund my money and I'm giving them somewhat of the benefit of the doubt which is why this is a 3-star review.

Compu Devices had a printer part for $222. This is what I wanted to buy: RM1-1784-090CN HP Duplexing Assembly for Color LaserJet CP4005N / 4700 Printer. On October 3, 2025, I inquired about the price for shipping to Canada, since the company is based on US. While discussing shipping to Canada, the price of the product was suddenly changed on the website to $490, out of the blue. When I told the seller, Daniel Kalen, about the change and asked him to honour the original price. He essentially said no, and that this was an error in pricing and then said that it was a website glitch. Obviously it doesn't matter what the issue was because the law states that you cannot change prices of your products just like that on a customer that has already been shown the price of the product. Basically, Daniel admitted that he had committed fraud. He then proceeded to ignore my further messages over the website chat. Lastly, he changed the printer part to say "out of stock." Way to go Daniel - first you lie and then you cover up your lies. Essentially, I do not recommend anyone do business with a company that does not have integrity or honour. This company has exactly the same reviews on Trustpilot where other buyers describe the same issue.
