Update following my latest review, Rapid POS is awful and will put your company in jeopardy with no recourse as they already have your money. The system is overly complex and near impossible for all staff to embrace (learning curve for the sales/4473 process is to steep). Don’t waste your time or money here. If you are in need of a firearms related POS/bound book. You need to take a serious look at CDS Flight Deck. What we went to once we recovered from Rapid POS. Super intuitive, simple integration and cost effective monthly subscription. Seek them out.

Be Forewarned!!! For the firearms industry, this company’s software is so horrifically bad that we had to abandon it altogether. It doesn’t scale, is poorly supported (we found solutions and work arounds they didn’t) and is nearly impossible to train anyone new without them leaving out of sheer frustration or looking at you like you just developed a third eye. Training is measured in months (should have been the first red flag) and we tried for months to make it work, both with and without their support. We now understand why they require payment up front via cash or a third party (financing). Smart on their part, they have all your money before you realize it’s never going to work or be the bane of your existence in perpetuity. This industry is difficult as it is, with all the regulations and requirements, one might call it a "calling"; they found a way to make it worse, and I’m not just speaking financially, flushing $20k down the drain is no easy task, but this pales in comparison to the lack of confidence you will have in making sure your inventory is squared away and appropriately accounted for.
