Fast speeds, choose to schedule a technician to install your fiber or do a self-install, provides just enough equipment you need to get access into your home, customer support is great! Knocking it down a star because there's been issues with the gfiber app and site for managing my network. I know they're working on fixing it, but I haven't been able to do any management since I upgraded. It cannot be linked into the google home app, where I manage pretty much all the devices connected to my network and set schedule automations. In the gfiber app I saw there was a tab to manage connected devices, but it wasn't working at the time of this review 2/4/2026. Will update my review when things get resolved and am able to manage my network on either the app or through the web browser.

I moved from another fiber service to Google Fiber years ago. Google Fiber is absolutely superior! The service is stable, consistent, and always available. The price is fair, plus the Google Drive 1TB space is included! There is nothing better. I only hope they keep expanding their service area. Please cover the full Orange County!

Great to set up. Customer service is exceptional. The only reason why I gave 3 stars is because of the true speeds based on the basic plan. Speeds were dialed down at certain times of the day. This is an issue with almost every internet company with exception of Starlink. I don't recommend paying the higher price for faster speeds. After all it is fiber to the home! Speeds should not be dialed down.

One opportunity I see for Google Fiber to go from great service to beloved brand is deeper community engagement. Offering occasional 50% promotional discounts—even for short periods—would go a long way in helping households and small businesses during key moments, while also generating goodwill and loyalty. Additionally, sponsoring events—from small business workshops to larger community, cultural, and entrepreneurial events—would be powerful. Internet is the backbone of modern business and creativity, and supporting spaces where people build, create, and connect aligns perfectly with what Google Fiber represents. Overall, this is a premium service with massive potential to lead not just in technology, but in community impact as well. I highly recommend it and look forward to seeing how the brand continues to grow.
