Can I leave 10 stars? If I could, I absolutely would! I am recently widowed, and when my AC unit went out around the time of my husband’s memorial, I was filled with dread at the thought of having to figure everything out on my own. I was especially worried that someone might try to take advantage of the situation. The previous company I had contacted quoted me $20,000 to replace my entire system. Then Chad came out and took the time to thoroughly look everything over and explain what was actually happening. With more than 36 years of experience in the business, Chad is incredibly knowledgeable—and, most importantly, honest and ethical. He discovered that my filters were so clogged with grit that they were causing the unit to freeze up and then flood. Instead of trying to sell me a new system, he simply removed the filter, took me outside, and showed me how to clean it and reinstall it properly. That kind of honesty and integrity is rare these days. There are still good, honest businesses out there, and DC’s Heating and Air Conditioning is absolutely one of them. I had seen someone write, “Don’t even bother to call anyone else,” and now I completely understand why. Chad has earned my trust and my business for life! Honest, prompt, knowledgeable, neat, nice and I could on. Chad and team replaced my 32 year old HVAC system. As you can see from the before and after photos of the A/C unit (I didn't take photos of the furnace) they did an excellent job of replacing my own unit. To start the process, Chad analyzed the needs of my house, based on the square footage, where the sun hit, etc. He treated my place like it was his own. He explained my options and made recommendations. I ended up with Lennox units. They seem to be much cooler (maybe 30-40% more air) and the unit is much quieter and more efficient than my old unit. I am very pleased with the decision to go with DC and Chad and highly recommend them!!!

Chad made my HVAC installation seamless. He provided honest advice and competitive pricing without the typical membership & service upsells that i was seeing from other bids I got. I had opted for a permit & he managed the process well, keeping me updated along the process. He provided me all the necessary paperwork to ensure a successful inspection. During installation, him and his team(shoutout to Renee) was prompt and professional—finishing the furnace, AC, and a attic gable fan that I wanted to get installed in about 5 hours. If you want a team that values transparency and quality work, this is it.

One detail that really impressed us was that they even changed out our vents so they now point toward the middle of the rooms, which has made the airflow so much better. Highly recommend DC’s for getting your HVAC system. I contacted all the big names but eventually made the decision to go with DC’s primarily because of the owner Chad and his explanation of the various options based on my needs and budget. Unlike the big names in the area, DC’s is a smaller outfit that is owned and operated by Chad and his small team so you’ll always deal with the owner vs a salesman. The pricing was much better than the bigger companies even though the product is the same. The install was very very clean and that’s primarily because Chad has one of the best installers in Orange County. Went with the hybrid system and couldn’t be happier.
